The Perfect Chocolate Frosting
  • - 1/4 cup butter or oil or margarine
    - 1/2 cup cocoa
    - 1/3 cup orange juice
    - 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
    - 3 1/2 cup confectioners sugar
  • Combine either of oil/butter/margarine with cocoa
  • Add orange juice & vanilla
  • Mix until smooth and creamy
  • Add more sugar if a thicker consistency is needed.
  • Frosts a 9" X 13" cake
Connie's Cheese Cake
  • - 1 1/2 lb cottage cheese
    - 3 eggs
    - 1 cup sugar
    - 1 tsp vanilla
    - 1 graham cracker crust or crush enough petit beurre cookies with a bit of oil
  • To fill a 9" pan:
    Blend eggs, sugar and vanilla adding cheese a little at a time.
  • When finished blend on high setting.
  • Pour on crust.
    Bake 350°F (180°C) for 25 minutes.
  • Cool 30 minutes.
  • Spread on top:
    - 1 cup sour cream
    - 2 tbsp sugar
    - 1 tsp vanilla
  • Bake for 5 minutes.
Easy Lemon Ice Cream
  • - 1 cup sugar
    - 4 eggs
    - 1 200gr container of frozen lemonade
    - 1 227gr container of Richwhip non dairy topping.
  • Blend sugar, eggs and lemonade till smooth
  • Whip Richwhip till stiff
  • Fold Richwhip cream into mixture
  • Chill in freezer for 1 hour
  • Remove from freezer and mix with spoon
  • Refreeze overnight
    Enjoy the 6 servings...
Robin's Banana Cake
  • - 1/2 cup oil
    - 1 1/4 cup sugar
    - 2 eggs
    - 1 tsp vanilla
    - 1 tsp baking soda
    - 1/4 cup orange juice
    - 1 1/2 cup flour
    - 1 cup bananas (mashed)
  • Beat sugar, eggs and vanilla.
  • Add the rest and beat.
  • Bake at 350°F (180°C) for one hour
Easy Passover Cookies
  • - 2 eggs
    - 3/4 cup sugar
    - 1/2 cup oil
    - 1 cup cake meal
    - 2 tbsp potato starch
    - 1/2 cup chopped almonds
  • Mix ingredients and place in fridge for 1 and 1/2 hours.
  • Remove from fridge....form small balls and place on greased cookie sheet.
  • Bake at 350°F (180°C) for 10-12 minutes.
Sherbert
  • - 1 1/4 cup orange juice
    - 1/3 cup lemon juice
    - 1/3 cup sugar
    - 1 banana
  • Mash the banana with a fork, add sugar and blend until sugar is dissolved.
  • Mix in the orange and lemon juice and freeze.
  • When partly frozen mix again.
  • Freeze.....if possible in an individual cup or dish.
  • Remove from freezer 20 minutes before serving. Approximately 4 servings.
Kiwi Sherbert
  • - 12 kiwi - 1 cup sugar - 1 cup water - 1 cup juice
  • Peel kiwis and blend.
  • Bring sugar, water and lemon juice to a boil and stir until sugar is dissolved.
  • Add kiwis and stir. Freeze until barely firm.
  • Blend again. Freeze again.
    Serves: 4
